A Chinese national emergency medical team is coming to Dhaka to provide advanced treatment to those who were seriously injured during the recent student uprising.
The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka said that China is sending this team at the request of the interim government led by Professor Muhammad Yunus.
The team will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Kunming on Sunday (September 22) at 1:35 PM.
Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen will be present at the airport to welcome the medical team.
