Xinhua reports that the satellites successfully entered the predetermined orbit with the help of a Long March-2D carrier rocket. The launch was the 536th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket series. It is considered a new milestone in the continuation of China’s space research program.

Besides, China successfully launched the Qianfan Polar Orbit-01 satellite in the first week of last August. After launch the satellite successfully placed in the pre-determined orbit and the mission was a complete success. This mission was the 530th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.

Earlier, China had launched a satellite in July as well. The country launched a new communication and broadcasting satellite named Chongsing-3A. At that time, the satellite was sent into space from the Wenchang Space Launch Site off the coast of the southern island province of Hainan. The satellite was launched by a modified version of the Long March-7 carrier rocket and successfully entered orbit.

China said the satellite, designed as a communications and broadcasting satellite, will provide voice, information, radio and television transmission services.
