From ‘Julai Shaheed Smriti Foundation’ financial assistance will be given to the families of the martyrs and the injured in the students’ mass uprising. Initially, each martyr’s family will be given five lakh rupees and each injured person will be given a maximum of one lakh rupees.
This decision was taken in the first meeting of the executive committee of the foundation on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, it has already been decided that the health ministry will pay the medical expenses of the injured.
Earlier on Tuesday, the interim government gave a donation of Tk 100 crore to ‘Julai Shahid Smriti Foundation’. This amount is paid from the Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund.
