Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Farooq Ahmed held a meeting with the cricketers of the national team last Thursday. Opener Tamim Iqbal was also present during this meeting with the cricketers at the BCB President’s own office at Mirpur Sher-e Bangla Stadium.

Most of the cricketers who won the Test series against Pakistan were seen in the meeting with Farooq Ahmed. Board president Farooq Ahmed had to face questions about Tamim’s presence in the cricketers’ meeting on Saturday. Journalists asked him this question after giving bonuses to the cricketers for winning Pakistan in an event at Sonargaon Hotel in the capital. He replied, ‘Tamim came.
