Central President of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir Manjurul Islam felicitated Hafez Anas who won the 30-para group in the 44th King Abdul Aziz International Quran Competition held in Makkah.
He was given this honor at a special ceremony at the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque in the capital on Friday (August 30).
Central Publicity Secretary of Chhatrashibir Dr. Sadek Abdullah, Central Student Welfare and Foundation Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, Central Law Secretary Abdullah Al Noman, President of Dhaka Metropolitan East Branch Zafar Sadiq and other leaders of Dhaka Metropolitan East Branch were also present at the reception.
Central president Manjurul Islam said, ‘This success of Hafez Anas is a matter of great pride for us. He increased the respect of not only Bangladesh but the entire Muslim Ummah. We pray for his bright future. Hopefully, he will play a leading role in spreading the light of the Quran.
He also said that this success of Hafez Anas is a great inspiration for Quran lovers in Bangladesh. This achievement of his will undoubtedly play an important role in increasing the passion for learning and reciting the Quran and spreading the message of the Quran.
It should be noted that in the same competition, Hafez Muaz became the champion in the 15-para group. He was also congratulated by the student camp.
