Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, Awami League believes in the politics of killing. They believe in the politics of disappearances, murders, looting, robbing the dignity of girls. Awami League leaders and activists have tortured the people of the country, the political leaders and activists of dissenting opinion so much that they are now caught in the canal while fleeing for fear of trial.
He said these things at the donation giving ceremony organized by Zilla Jamaat at Habiganj Municipal Ground on Saturday, August 24 at 9 am.

Sheikh Hasina used to say, this is their country, others are tenants. Now they cannot stay in the country by themselves. They turned the RAB into a guard, axed the courts. The people of the country were not safe for them.
Jamaat Amir said, there is nothing to say that number is superior or number is inferior, we are all human beings. We need to ensure our rights as human beings. Jamaat-e-Islami has been persecuted the most in recent days. If revenge is to be taken, it is ours to take, but we have not taken revenge, nor will we. After pot parivartan we guarded the temple, repeatedly met with the leaders of Hinduism.
The international tribunal has done for our trial, now they have to come to this court. One tyranny has fallen, everyone must be on guard lest another form of tyranny seize power.
