Power is not permanent for anyone: Rafiqul Islam Khan

Power is not permanent for anyone. But Jamaat-e-Islami’s Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan said that Awami League has been expelled from the country while trying to ax power.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the road meeting organized by the local Jamaat-e-Islami at Hatikumrul roundabout in Sirajganj at 8 am on Saturday (August 14).

At that time, various organizations congratulated him with flowers.

This leader of Jamaat said, ‘The dictatorial Sheikh Hasina government did not allow me to come to the people of Ullapara-Salanga for the last 15 years. I would like to say to these thousands of people today that Sheikh Hasina’s dictatorship has fallen in the face of student resistance. Ullapara-Salanga will be freed from terror-moneylenders in the same way as the resistance that brought down the dictatorship, Inshallah.’

He said, ‘After the fall of Hasina, there was an attempt to stain the country with communalism. But across the country, Jamaat-Shibir has kept vigil at night to protect Hindu temples. The leaders also performed the duty of guarding the police station.

 

The former president of the student camp, Rafiqul Islam Khan, urged everyone to stand by the Banvasi people, regardless of party affiliation.

Amir Abdul Hai Al Hadi of Hatikumrul Union Jamaat chaired and secretary Maulana Rakib Hasan was the special guest in the meeting – Amir Maulana Shahinur Alam of Sirajganj District Jamaat, Secretary Professor Zahidul Islam.

Ullapara Upazila Amir Professor Shahjahan Ali, Solanga Thana Jamaat Amir Hossain Ali, Secretary Rashedul Islam Shaheed, Assistant Secretary Advocate Sadrul Islam, Sirajganj District Camp President Alhaj Uddin, former central leader of the camp Hedayetul Islam also spoke.

Earlier, when he arrived at Nalka Bridge in Sirajganj from Dhaka at 7:30 in the morning, activists welcomed Rafiqul Islam Khan with about 1,000 motorcycles. After the road meeting at Hatikumrul intersection, Rafiqul Islam Khan addressed the road meeting at Boalia Bazaar, Salanga Thana Ground, Dabirganj, Ullapara, Sirajganj-4 Constituency.

Today’s program is scheduled to end with a public meeting at Ullapara old bus stand in the afternoon after the Gohatta Bazar, Mohanpur, Balsabari, Shahjahanpur road meetings of the upazila.
