A fire has occurred in a residential building in Dhanmondi of the capital. Six fire service units are working to control the fire.
The fire took place at 10:25 am on Wednesday. The fire came under control at 11:17.
Lima Khanom, duty officer of fire service, confirmed the matter and said, ‘At 10:25 in the morning, I received information about the fire on the eighth floor of the 12-storey building at Dhanmondi number five. Then six units started working to control the fire.
However, initially he could not give any information about the cause of the fire and casualties.
