HSC 2024 Postponed Exam Routine

The new routine for the HSC and equivalent examinations, which were suspended amid violent circumstances surrounding the quota reform and anti-government agitation, has been revealed. 

On Thursday, the convener of the inter-education board examination control committee, Professor Md. This information was given in the notification signed by Abul Bashar.

According to the published new schedule, the postponed exams will start from September 11. Dhaka, Rajshahi, Jessore, Comilla Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur and Mymensingh Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board exams will continue as per this schedule.

Due to the violence spread across the country amid the quota reform movement, educational institutions across the country were announced to be closed indefinitely on the night of July 16. HSC and equivalent exams on July 18 have also been postponed.

As the situation worsened, the Inter-Board Coordination Committee suspended all higher secondary examinations till August 1.

If the situation is normal, the HSC and equivalent exams were supposed to start from August 4 as per the previously announced schedule. But those tests were also postponed.

After repeated postponements, the examination was said to start from August 11 in the new schedule. But after the fall of the government, various examination centers were damaged in the violence and the question papers were burnt.
