Referring to Sheikh Hasina, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “History is cruel, God’s judgment is cruel.” Allah Ta’ala showed in front of our eyes that power is not eternal, power is temporary.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at a sit-in program in front of the Nayapaltan BNP central office on Thursday afternoon. BNP held this stand program to prevent the trial and anarchy of the dictator Sheikh Hasina and his allies. Today was the last day of the two-day stay programme.

He pointed to Sheikh Hasina and recited verses from the Qur’an and said, “Allah says, ‘I can make you poor.’ I can make the fakir rich. I can make the living dead, I can make the dead alive’. Allah Ta’ala denied this to Hasina. He transgressed. Pride, what pride! What is Allah’s order, he has to flee to the place where he is rooted.

Mirza Fakhrul said, the murderer Sheikh Hasina has been steamrollering our leaders and workers for 15 years, inhumanely torturing people of different religions. We have filed false cases against 60 lakh people. Hundreds of leaders and workers have gone missing. Before the 24th election, 28,000 leaders and workers were taken to prison in just two days. BNP leaders and workers gave so much life for the restoration of democracy which is rare in history. Many mothers lost their sons, sisters lost their brothers.

He mentioned about Abu Saeed, a student of English department in Rokeya University, who was killed in the student movement. Children of poor families.

He said, a new game has started minority, but no one is a minority in this country. They are plotting again, wanting to come back to help India by doing something. All their conspiracies must be foiled.

Addressing the Awami League leaders and workers, Mirza Fakhrul said that he saw 69, 71 and 24 years. Have seen how the people of the country can burn. Surrender well. Those who are out there doing this get well. Must face trial.

Highlighting former law minister Anisul Haque and Salman F. Rahman, they should be tried in the International Human Rights Tribunal. He committed the crime of genocide. Those who have looted, tortured, killed must be prosecuted.

He said that the interim government is the product of our movement, this government should be united and cooperated. As long as they are in favor of democracy. Of course the current government will hand over power to establish democracy through elections.

Mirza Fakhrul said that those who worked as allies of the dictatorial government even as public officials should be brought out, and those identified as terrorists who worked in the government for this government should be arrested and brought to justice.

Mirza Abbas, a member of the standing committee, said that Naqd is a corrupt institution, they should be brought under the law. Post office has nothing to do with cash. Every businessman in this country is involved in killing people with snipers. They have become crocodiles of money. All smuggled. Catch them. Hasina-Salman did not take Rahman on the plane. Our leader was captured and none of us escaped. This is the difference between the leaders of Awami League and BNP. National leader Begum Khaleda Zia sacrificed her life for the country.

He said, we wanted to see the country leader free air. Now I see, there is nothing more to ask for.

Addressing the leaders and workers, the movement is not over, be careful.

Begum Selima Rahman, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, said that the freedom that the students brought with their blood, the mother’s chest was empty, she became a martyr. But the conspiracy of fascist Sheikh Hasina has not stopped yet. They are plotting. Don’t you dare to conspire with Bangladesh. The students of this country have shown their game. Sheikh Hasina has tortured the government, the students will unite and not allow them to come to this country.

Prayers are offered in memory of those killed for the anti-discrimination movement and the establishment of democracy.

Vice Chairman Dr. Asaduzzaman Ripon, Advisor to the Chairperson Abdus Salam, Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khokon, Dhaka South Metropolitan BNP Convener Rafiqul Alam Majnu, Volunteers Party President SM Jilani, Juba Dal General Secretary Nurul Islam Nayan, Farmers Party General Shahidul Islam Babul and others spoke.
