All-out stand program of anti-discrimination student movement in Shahbagh today

The anti-discrimination student movement will hold an all-out program at Shahbagh on Thursday. Abu Bakr Majumder, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, said that this program will be celebrated across the country as a part of the ‘Resistance Week’ with four-point demands, including the trial of the murderer Sheikh Hasina. This program will start centrally at 10 am in Shahbagh.

Abu Bakr Majumdar said that on August 15, the ‘All-out stand program’ will be held across the country as part of the week-long ‘Resistance Week’ under the banner of ‘Anti-discrimination student movement’.

Abu Bakr called upon all the students across the country to make the program a success.

The four point demands are-

1. Special tribunals should be set up to ensure speedy trial of those who have committed murders using fascist structures.

2. The minorities, including the Awami League and the fourteen parties who participated in the attempt to debunk the mass uprising through planned looting and looting, must be brought to justice.

3. Those in the administration and judiciary who have legitimized the attacks, prosecutions, and killings of student uprisings and have repeatedly attempted to perpetuate fascism must be removed and prosecuted as soon as possible.

4. Equal opportunities should be ensured for those who have been discriminated against in the administration and judiciary.

Sit-in program at Central Shaheed Minar
Meanwhile, Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal has called for a sit-in program at Central Shaheed Minar of the capital on Thursday at 10 am. According to a circular sent by Chhatra Dal office secretary Jahangir Alam, they will hold a program to demand Hasina’s trial around the killing of Pilkhana, 28 October Logi Baitha rampage, killing of clerics and madrasa students in the dark of night at Shapla Chattar, brutal suppression of the democratic movement and the quota reform movement.

Private University Students Alliance
Private University Students Alliance has said that they will be on guard from Wednesday night to prevent any conspiracy or abnormal movement around Dhanmondi 32. They have called upon the students of all universities around Dhanmondi including University of Asia Pacific, Bangladesh University, Daffodil Institute of IT to gather in Dhanmondi 32 area
