This information was given in the weather forecast for the country’s inland river ports till 6 pm on Wednesday (August 14).
It has been said that over Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mymensingh and Sylhet regions, there may be temporary rain or thunder with gusty wind speed of 45-60 km per hour from south or southeast direction.

Meanwhile, the weather forecast for the next 24 hours on Tuesday night said that there may be light to moderate rain or thundershowers with gusty winds at many places in Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Sylhet divisions. Also, there may be moderate to heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
