Police uniform-logo is changing

It has been decided to change the uniform and logo of the police force. This decision was taken in a meeting of a delegation of agitating policemen with Brigadier General (Retired) M Sakhawat Hossain, Advisor to the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday afternoon. A decision has been taken to change the uniform and logo to improve morale and reform.

Moshiur Rahman, the senior secretary of the security service department of the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the secretary of the public security department were present in the meeting. Jahangir Hossain, Inspector General of Police (IGP). Moinul Islam, Director General of BGB, Director General of Passport and Immigration Directorate and officials at various levels of the ministry.

In the meeting, several demands of the 11th point of the police were assured to be fulfilled in a short period of time. Other demands will be implemented over time, said the Home Affairs Adviser.

According to the decision of the meeting, no attack on the police can be carried out from now on. Any complaint against any member of the police should be reported to the superior officers.

Meanwhile, Home Affairs Advisor M Sakhawat Hossain sat with the students before the meeting with the policemen. In that meeting, the students said that they have no dispute with the police. The police will do their duty.

After the meeting with the policemen, M Sakhawat Hossain told reporters that the morale of the police has been broken due to the incidents of the last few days. The police don’t want to work in this uniform anymore. It will be changed very soon. And the demands they put forward will be fulfilled in the short and long term. We will discuss these issues in detail in the meeting. The policemen have promised me that they will act properly from now on.
