Advertisement Dr. Ban on use of Yunus’s picture

The interim government was sworn in yesterday after the fall of the government in the face of the student uprising. The chief adviser of this government is the Nobel-winning economist Dr. Muhammad Yunus.

The next day in some national newspapers. Some companies have advertised using Yunus’ picture congratulating the chief adviser to the government. This has been widely discussed and criticized on social media since Friday morning. 

This time, the Chief Adviser’s office said in a statement that the Chief Adviser’s picture cannot be used in such advertisements or campaigns. 

The statement sent to the media from the Chief Adviser’s office said, ‘The use of the Honorable Chief Adviser’s picture in advertisements or any other campaign in various media including newspapers is prohibited.’
