Addressing the nation regarding the ongoing situation in the country, Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman announced the formation of an interim government in the country.
In a press conference on Monday afternoon, he said, ‘The Honorable Prime Minister has resigned. Now we will conduct the activities by forming an Interim Government.’
He said, ‘We have decided that an interim government will be formed. We will now approach the President to discuss the formation of an interim government. Trust us.’
At this time, he called upon the protesters to go back home.
