A young man named Siam (18) was killed in the clash at the toll plaza of Jatrabari, Hanif flyover in the capital.
Some people took him to the Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) hospital at around 12:00 pm on Wednesday. But on the way they confirmed the death of Siam and returned with the body.
Siam used to work in a battery shop in Gulistan. He used to rent a house in Matuail. His village home is Bhola Charfashion.
Russell, who brought Siam to the hospital, said that when Siam reached Hanif Flower while going home, there was a conflict. At one point he was hit by a bullet fired from the encounter. Later he was rescued and brought to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. But he died before reaching the hospital. That is why I am taking the body home.
In this regard, Inspector in charge of DMK Hospital police outpost Bachchu Mia said that a young man who was shot in the Hanif flyover clash was brought to the hospital by his relatives. But realizing Siam was already dead, they went back again.
