Bangladesh Public Works Commission (PSC) question leak issue has caused a lot of uproar across the country. Various questions have been raised about the responsibility of the responsible officers of the institution itself regarding the leakage of such sensitive examination questions of a constitutional institution. Among the 17 people arrested by the CID, Syed Abed Ali is being discussed and criticized the most.

According to reliable sources, BCS cadres serving in the leaked question papers are acting like Abed Ali Raksha Committee. Because if Abed Ali is interrogated further, many people fear that he can tell the names of those who have passed the question mark and are holding important positions. Abed Ali has cadres in all sectors of BCS. They keep trying to save him in different ways. Meanwhile, Abed Ali’s photo with important officials of various departments has gone viral on Facebook. Many feel embarrassed by this.
Meanwhile, those who entered the administration in Abed Ali’s loophole are indulging in corruption, irregularities and mismanagement. Law enforcement forces are also working to identify them and bring them under the law.
Among the 17 people arrested on July 8 in connection with the leak of a railway recruitment exam question paper, six are PSC officials. Five of them are still working. Another was sacked 10 years ago for question paper leak.
Deputy Director Md. is among the current and former officers and employees of the constitutional body PSC who were arrested in the operation of the Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID). Abu Jafar and Jahangir Alam. There is also assistant director. Alamgir Kabir, Employee (Despatch Rider) Md. Khalilur Rahman and office assistant Sajedul Islam. Besides, there is Syed Abed Ali, a former driver of PSC. Mahfuzur Rahman, former member of PSC, has acquired a client by giving his car driver Abed Ali. Several former PSC chairman said Abed Ali was respected and feared by everyone.
The accused officers and employees of PSC were temporarily suspended yesterday on July 9. The PSC has written to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Thursday (July 10) to investigate the five officials and employees arrested in connection with the latest railway question paper leak.
Meanwhile, the law and order forces arrested a class IV employee involved in the question leak with Syed Abed Ali, a former driver of PSC, along with a check of 10 crore rupees. According to the information provided by him, eight more people have been identified in this cycle of question paper leak. A few high-profile leakers have also been named. Among them are mid-level officers. There are also office assistants and drivers. That information is being verified. CID said that everyone involved will be brought under the law.
Mohammad Feroz Mia, an expert on government service regulations and former additional secretary, told a media that a cycle of question paper leak is working within the PSC. Some of them have been caught, some are still at large. The question remains as to why the constitutional body PSC did not file a criminal case against the officials and employees involved in the leak of recruitment examination question papers at various times.
