Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami congratulated Keir Starmer, leader of the Labor Party of Great Britain, on his election as Prime Minister.
Monday (July 8) Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman gave the following statement on this occasion:
On behalf of me and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, I sincerely congratulate Keir Starmer, the leader of the Labor Party of Great Britain, on his election as the Prime Minister of Great Britain. I hope he will play a very strong and just role in the peaceful resolution of various problems in the world.
We expect his strong role in establishing democracy, rule of law and upholding human rights in the whole world including Bangladesh.
I wish him good health, long life and his family happiness, peace and prosperity
