Former Jubo League leader Al Amin was hacked to death by miscreants in Khulna. The incident took place on Monday (July 8) night in East Bania Farm area of the city.
The deceased Al Amin is the son of Jahangir Sheikh of Lohar Gate area of East Bania Farm. He was the former joint convener of Ward No. 27 Jubo League of the city.
According to the police and locals, when he came to the Munnar garage in the Lohar Gate area of East Baniakhamar of Khulna city around 9 pm on Monday, the miscreants hacked him with sharp weapons and fled. Later the locals rescued him and took him to Khulna Medical College Hospital. The doctor on duty there declared him dead.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khulna Sadar Police Station Kamal Hossain Khan told the media that around 9:00 p.m. some people hacked and injured Al Amin due to previous enmity. He was later taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital where he died. Investigation is going on in this incident.
The OC said that there are 10 cases of murder in the police station in the name of the deceased Al Amin.
