The Meteorological Office has predicted a storm with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour in 11 districts of the country.

According to the notification, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar districts may experience rain with a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour or rain with thunder. The river ports of these areas have been asked to display the number one warning signal.
Meanwhile, in another notification of the Department of Meteorology, it has been said in the weather forecast till 6:00 p.m. that Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers temporarily with gusty winds. Also Rangpur and Sylhet divisions may experience moderate to heavy rainfall.
At this time, the weather office has also said that the day temperature may increase slightly and the night temperature may remain almost unchanged across the country.
