The Public Service Commission (PSC) has released the 46th BCS written exam time table. As per the schedule, the written exam will start on August 28, which will continue till September 9. This information was given in the notification published on the PSC website on Thursday (July 4).
It is said that on the scheduled days, the written test will be held from 10 am on the compulsory and post related subjects of the candidates. Only mental aptitude test will start at 12:30 PM. The examination will be conducted simultaneously in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh.
The notification also mentioned that other important instructions including exam hall and seat arrangement will be published on the PSC website.
The 46th BCS preliminary exam was held on April 26. 2 lakh 54 thousand 561 candidates participated in it. The result of the preliminary examination was declared on May 9. 10 thousand 638 people passed it.
According to the 46th BCS notification, the total number of posts is 3 thousand 140. Most of these will be taken in the health cadre. Besides, 1 thousand 682 assistant surgeons, 16 assistant dental surgeons will be recruited. After that most will be taken in education cadre. 520 people will be taken for BCS education from this cadre in various subjects.
