Five people were killed in a collision between a bus and a truck in Panchbari area of Dinajpur Fulbari road. At least 25 people were injured in this incident.
The accident took place in front of Aryan Petrol Pump in Panchbari Bazar Chakrampur (Daisei) area on Dinajpur-Phulbari highway at around 6 am on Friday (July 5).
According to police sources, the casualty occurred in a head-on collision between a Nabil Parivan bus leaving Dhaka and an Ambozhai truck going from Dinajpur to Phulbari at around 6 am on Friday.
Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station OC Md. Farid Hossain said that the detailed names and identities of the victims were not found. The bus was taken from the road by the wrecker to the police line and the truck was kept near the Aryan petrol pump. At present, traffic on the road is normal.
