The Prime Minister will give medals to 126 people

National Primary Education Week begins today. This year’s theme is ‘Quality Education, Nation’s Promise’. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate Education Week at 10 am on Thursday (June 27). After that, the Prime Minister will award the current year’s ‘Primary Education Medal-2023’.

This information was informed in a press release of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education yesterday on Wednesday.

The notification informed that the primary education week will continue till February 10. On this occasion, the institutions, individuals and students who have achieved outstanding contribution in the field of primary education, sports, music, school management, primary final examination will be honoured.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of the National Primary Education Week, President Md. Sahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave separate messages. The President said in his speech that primary education is the basis of formal education. Primary education is the beginning of a student’s educational life. Education is the key to building a well-educated and value-minded nation.

The Prime Minister said in his speech, we have formulated modern education policy and are implementing it. We have nationalized 26 thousand 193 private primary schools of the country and 1 lakh 5 thousand 616 teachers’ jobs have been nationalized.
