Prime Minister’s tribute to Bangabandhu’s portrait on A.League’s founding anniversary

Today is historic June 23. 75th founding anniversary of Awami League. Party President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of the day.

On Sunday (June 23) at 7 am, the Prime Minister paid tribute to Bangabandhu’s portrait at No. 32, Dhanmondi. At that time, as the president of Awami League, he paid tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu along with the top leaders of the party.

The national flag and party flag were hoisted at the party’s central office and nationwide party offices at sunrise on Awami League’s platinum jubilee. Apart from this, at 10:30 in the morning, a delegation from the Awami League Central Executive will pay tribute at the grave of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who is lying in eternal sleep in Tungipara.

The members of the delegation are – member of the presidium. Colonel (Retd.) Muhammad Farooq Khan, Central Committee Member Abul Hasnat Abdullah, Presidium Member Shajahan Khan, Organizing Secretary SM Kamal Hossain, Agriculture and Cooperative Affairs Secretary Faridunnahar Laili, Education and Human Resources Affairs Secretary Begum Shamsunnahar, Health and Population Affairs Secretary Dr. Rokeya Sultana, Central Executive Member of Parliament Sahabuddin Faraji and others.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of Platinum Jubilee, the program will be inaugurated at historic Suhrawardy Udyan at 2:15 PM by hoisting national and party flags, playing national anthem, flying balloons and pigeons. After that, there will be discussion meeting and cultural program at 2:30 pm. Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will preside over the event.

On the 75th founding anniversary of Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader’s party, hoisting the national and party flags, paying tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, discussing the history and heritage of Awami League and cultural events, along with taking programs consistent with the central program, besides celebrating the founding anniversary magnificently through various useful programs. Awami League, associates and fraternal organizations have called on the leaders, workers and supporters of all levels including district/metropolitan, upazila/ police station, municipal/union and ward branches.
