Bangladesh Labor Party Chairman Dr. Mostafizur Rahman Iran was seriously injured in a road accident in Bablatala area of Faridpur this morning on his way back to Dhaka after party activities in Bhandaria, Kaukhali and Nesharabad areas of Pirojpur. At that time, his traveling companion, the organizing secretary of the Labor Party, Kamruzzaman Chowdhury and central member Habibur Rahman were injured.
They were immediately given first aid at Banga Upazila Health Complex. Later he was brought to Dhaka and after treatment at Ibn Sina Hospital, he is under the supervision of a doctor at home. In the accident, the chairman of the Labor Party suffered severe injuries to his two hands, left leg and face.
Today (Friday), Labor Party Publicity Secretary Md. Monir Hossain Khan, in a statement signed by the Labor Party and his family, prayed for their speedy recovery.
