Prime Minister left Dhaka for New Delhi

Sangram Online: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka for New Delhi on a two-day state visit at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be the first bilateral visit by a foreign prime minister after the formation of a new government in the country. 

The Prime Minister and her entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a Bangladesh Biman flight at 2:08 pm on Friday (June 21). Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary MM Imrul Kayes confirmed this information.

The flight will land at New Delhi’s Palam Airport at 4 pm local time.

A high-level delegation from India and High Commissioner of Bangladesh in India. Mustafizur Rahman will welcome Sheikh Hasina at the airport.

According to the program of the visit, Indian Foreign Minister Dr. Sheikh Hasina will meet at her residence this evening. S Jaishankar. The red carpet will be rolled out at Rashtrapati Bhavan tomorrow Saturday morning to welcome Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially welcome Sheikh Hasina there. At this time, the national anthems of both countries will be played. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will also visit the Guard of Honour.

During this visit, there will be a private meeting between the Prime Ministers of the two countries and then a discussion at the representative level. Several agreements and memorandums of understanding will be signed between Dhaka and New Delhi to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between the two countries. A possible trade deal is also expected to be discussed. Over the past decade several cross-border initiatives have been launched as part of stronger regional partnerships.

Sheikh Hasina will return home on June 23.
