417 passengers returned to Dhaka on the first return Hajj flight

After Hajj, 417 passengers returned home on the first return flight. The Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying Hajid landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 5:40 am on Friday (June 21).

At that time, along with relatives, Babychak Chairman, MD of Biman and related senior officials were present to welcome Hajid at the airport.

Biman’s MD said that all preparations are in place to make the return Hajj flight hassle-free.

Meanwhile, another Haji died in Saudi Arabia on Thursday. His name is Md. Idis Khan (66), passport number EF0594084. A total of 31 pilgrims have died so far.

This year the quota of government pilgrims from Bangladesh was 4 thousand 562 and the quota of private pilgrims was 80 thousand 695.

Babychak chairman said, Hajid has managed to create a beautiful environment on the way to and fro. Once the third terminal is opened, Hajj management will be more smooth.

218 flights to Saudi Arabia were operated from May 9 to June 12. The number of flights operated by Biman Bangladesh Airlines is 106, the number of flights operated by Saudi Airlines is 75 and the number of flights operated by Flynas Airlines is 37. A total of 85 thousand 225 pilgrims went to Saudi Arabia on these flights.
