The Israeli army released 33 Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip on Thursday. Turkey-based media Anadolu Agency gave the news about a hospital source in Gaza.

The released Palestinians were malnourished and bore many signs of torture, the source said. They were admitted to Al-Aqsa Hospital.

After the release of the prisoners on Thursday, the Palestinian independence organization Hamas said that the prisoners brought evidence of terrible torture in Israeli prisons.

Hamas said in a statement that the Palestinians were released from the Sede Teman detention center. Thousands of Palestinian prisoners were held there. Israeli occupiers in the Gaza Strip forcibly removed Palestinians and detained them there.

At least 36 Palestinian prisoners detained by Israeli forces since October 7 have died due to severe torture in Israeli prisons, the Gaza media office said on Thursday.

Dozens of prisoners released by the Israeli army in recent weeks have described torture and ill-treatment during interrogations while in detention.

Rejecting the UN Security Council’s proposal to demand an immediate ceasefire, Israel is still carrying out massacres in Gaza. The Netanyahu government does not care about international condemnation.

According to the Gaza Health Authority, about 37,400 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since October 7. Most of them were women and children and more than 85,500 people were injured.
