Meanwhile, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bangladesh gave the latest bulletin of Hajj pilgrimage on Wednesday night. According to that information, all the scheduled flights of Hajj pilgrimage went to Saudi Arabia; In which 85 thousand 129 people went to Hajj from Bangladesh. Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated 106 flights, Saudi Arabian Airlines 75 and Flynas 37 flights to carry these pilgrims. Of these pilgrims, 17 died till Wednesday. Among them are 19 men and three women. Of them, 13 died in Makkah and four in Madina.

According to Arab News, Palestinians in occupied Gaza were unable to travel to Mecca for this year’s hajj because the Rafah crossing was closed in May when Israeli troops advanced towards the southern city of Rafah, near the border with Egypt. However, the Palestinian Authority said 4,200 pilgrims from the occupied West Bank had arrived in Mecca to perform the hajj. Saudi authorities said 1,000 families of Palestinians killed in the Gaza war, most of whom arrived in Egypt before the closure of Rafah, have also performed the hajj at the invitation of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
