Lalpur police station officer-in-charge Nashim Ahmed (OC) said that the police raided the Shivnagar area based on secret information. The leaders and activists of Jamaat Shibir tried to escape from the secret meeting when they sensed the presence of the police. Later, the police arrested 20 leaders and activists of the Jamaat-Shibir from the spot. Meanwhile, a large number of anti-state books and leaflets were seized. Later, a case of sabotage was filed against them at the police station and they were sent to court on Wednesday afternoon.
