BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, our main enemy is this government.

He said, ‘This government has destroyed everything in the country. Our only voice is to remove this government and establish a people’s government. The movement is going on, the movement will continue, soon our movement will be faster. We were able to be all teams together. We are struggling to find out how to remove this government, how to restore democracy.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the discussion meeting on the way to overcome the crisis of democracy in Bangladesh organized by the Revolutionary Workers Party at Dhaka Reporters Unity on Wednesday.

Mirza Fakhrul called on the leaders and activists to unite and said, ‘Let’s take the people together and fight against the government. Especially the young youth must come forward. Because this struggle is not only BNP’s alone, this struggle is a struggle to protect the freedom and democracy of the country.BNP Secretary General said, ‘Our only goal is to remove this government. People are awake. We may not have been able to exploit their awakening to achieve final victory. But there will be a new sunrise, we must get there.

He also said, ‘This government’s misdeeds cannot be dismissed. They have destroyed the political structure and destroyed the economic structure as well.’

Mirza Fakhrul said, I will not say that the people have not woken up. People have woken up. We have seen how people joined the rally through many hurdles.
