Regular classes will be held in educational institutions during HSC and equivalent examinations

This year’s HSC and equivalent exams are going to start on June 30. Earlier, the educational institutions used as examination centers were closed during the examination, but this is not the case now. This time regular classes will be held in the educational institution.

In a letter signed by Professor Md. Abul Basha, Controller of Examinations of the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education on Tuesday (June 11), this instruction was given to the officials related to this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations.

It is mentioned in the letter that the HSC exam-2024 is going to start on June 30. The Dhaka Education Board has requested that in those centers where schools and colleges are combined, the class activities of classes VI to X should be continued on examination days and on non-examination days.

It is informed in the letter that instructions have been given to be careful not to disturb the public examination while continuing the class activities. All concerned have been requested to take necessary measures in this regard

In the light of this letter, other education boards of the country will also give the same instructions to the educational institutions under their authority, said the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.Note that HSC and equivalent exams are starting from June 30 this year. A total of 14 lakh 50 thousand 790 candidates will participate in the HSC and equivalent exams under 11 education boards. This time there are 9 thousand 463 institutions and 2 thousand 725 centers
