Newborn stolen from Dhaka Medical

A newborn baby was stolen from the gynecology department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The theft happened at around 1:15 on Tuesday. According to the police, a woman named Sukhi Begum gave birth to twin girls around seven in the morning. A woman steals a newborn baby by offering to nurse and cooperate.

Later, a woman stole a baby from the hospital. Attempts are underway to nab the thief by looking at the closed circuit camera (CCTV).

According to police sources, the two newborns were with their grandmother Hasina Begum and father Shariful. A woman took the child in her arms from the father saying to cooperate. Keep it with him for some time. In this way he developed a relationship with his grandmother and father. At one point, he escaped through the Ansar’s security fence with a child by avoiding their eyes.

Shariful Islam, the father of the stolen child, said that he met a woman at the gate of the women’s ward. Men are not allowed in that ward. On this occasion, the woman ran away with the baby, saying that the mother was breastfeeding.

Sukhi is a resident of Banshgram of Kumarkhali Upazila of Kushtia District. Her husband Shariful Islam is a truck driver’s assistant. Currently they live in Dhamrai Kalampur.
